Mess Around session.

Evening all!

So, this is my first official blog post!

We have been up since 4am today!!!!!! Both babies are full of cold! Arthur woke at 4am, smiling into the darkness, he is soooo cute, but even I can say I didn't find this very cute at 4am!!!!

So by 5:20am I had given up and tried to sneak downstairs, which was a massive fail, and woke Pops up!! So, we went downstairs, and what does Poppy say as soon as we enter the living room?! BING!!!!!! Anyone elses toddler OBSESSED with Bing? Hate that bunny!!!

Well anyway, turns out getting up early is quite productive! Got all the washing up, laundry, general tidying up and had the slow cooker on, all by 7am!

Soooooo, anyway, both babies are in bed now!

This week we went to a Mess Around UK session. Our closest one used to be about 10 miles from our village, which we went to and Poppy loved, so when I saw that there was one coming to our village, I jumped at the chance. Here are some pictures from our session.

Arthur all ready for the session. He was asleep the majority of the time as he is a bit little to join in bless him.

As you can see there are soooo may different textures for the children to explore. I couldn't get many pictures as I would have liked, as I couldn't get any of the other children in the picture.
There were also,
  • Cornflakes,
  • Gloopy stuff,
  • Shaving foam,
  • Soil,
  • Water,
  • Jelly,
  • Spaghetti hoops,
  • Coloured rice.
Poppy really enjoyed it and you could see by the mess the other children did. The sessions are an hour long and I think I paid £7 for the session, which was defiantly worth it.

The only thing I would say about the sessions is that they are really busy! It's not just the children there, it's the parents too, which makes it look even busier! I think the numbers could of been halved as I felt at times there were a lot of children around one activity.
Poppy isn't a big fan of crowds, I think she would benefit a lot more form smaller groups.

But all in all I would recommend trying these sessions, Not in your best clothes though!!!!!!

Video going up on YouTube tomorrow!

Hope you all have a good weekend!

HELLO, BONJOUR, HOLA, CIAO!

Hi everyone,

Thought I would start this on the side of my YouTube channel as there are certain things I'd like to write about that I don't think would come across in a vlog!

So here's to a new venture, which I am really excited about!

Take care, and I hope you stick with us.
